If you love dolls and vintage doll clothes than this is a display you want to see. It is a collection of doll dresses from the 1930s through the 1950s. Doll clothes just aren’t made like this anymore using cute whimsical fabrics like gingham, plaids, and cotton florals reminiscent of depression era feed sack. Whether handmade or factory made, whoever made the dresses from these eras paid close attention to detail like rickrack trim, ruffles, tulle petticoats and organza collars. Come up to the Art Division to see this delightful happy display. They just may make you begin sewing clothes for yourself.
